Memento
A 2nd year stepped in Newhall and some seniors pointed out “Look, a new chicken has come to be hatched”. Then, the night duty after gobbling famous meal may stir you to find a female mosquito beneath the cot!! Hip-hop, break dance in the tune of some tracks, reading between some predefined delicious lines and stand-up sit-down practices, may add salt to reminisce those glorious days, so called -“ragging period”. Reciting the name of seniors, department along with room no. with in one week was really an ultimatum & keeping a CHEAT in pocket was helpful indeed!! Store-keeping in the early morning and becoming class-D workers for seniors might wrinkle our faces in those days but these flashbacks has coaxed in the artery of engineering life of Newhall to spark the nostalgic sentiment.
Then you became senior and you might hatch some chickens too and same scenario traditionally iterated. Those cocktails after semesters help to dream for ‘Independence day’ in your current rat-race and recessed life! Gradually, 3 years, full of joy, masti and excitement passed silently to miss for the rest of whole life!
Now, you are creeping behind the bars of small desk and a COMPUTER. Entitled with software engineer, far from the soft tune of life style, you are coding and debugging like a prisoner in front of the red eyed signal of project manager (comparable to jailor!!). About 8 hour company of computer like a vampire throughout a day left you exhausted and may be, family gets fired when you sleep peacefully at the end of this rat-race.
In this busy schedule, Newhall rises as an oasis in your deserted life to heal you afresh. Still it counts for your comeback and intends to nourish you with joy, excitement, happiness. We welcome you to return back those days with interests on behalf of ELIXIR-09.
